Consular service fees are given in Australian dollars per person. Time of processing is as follows. No same day or next day service available. Payment must be exact and made by money order or bank cheque payable to the Consulate General of Russia. If paying in our Office credit/debit cards are also acceptable. Please be advised that payments made with personal/company cheques or payable not to the Consulate General of Russia will not be accepted. Accepted visa processing fees received from the applicant are not subject for reimbursement in any circumstances.

Visa processing starts only after the Consulate has received all necessary documents. Please be advised, that drop-off day (if applying in person) and delivery day (if applying by post) are not counted as a business day. If you apply by post  two day of processing should be added to the standard time of processing. For example, if you submitted the documents in person in our Office on Monday and paid for 2 days processing, your passport with visa will be ready for collection from our Reception on Wednesday from 9 a.m.; if we received your documents by post on Monday with payment for 2 days processing and self-addressed envelope, your passport with visa will be dispatched on Thursday or Friday at about 13 p.m. Please, note that the Consulate won’t provide information on status enquiry for visa applications.The Consulate General won't take into consideration your prepaid air tickets, bookings, etc. and doesn't bear any responsibility for your possible expenses and losses if you don't read the above information carefully and counted the date of collection/dispatch incorrectly.
